I attended the Kellogg information session and it was simply outstanding. I have come to believe firmly that these sessions are important not just to glean unique points about the school but also form an opinion on whether it is a good fit. E.g. I came to the firm conclusion that Chicago Booth is a not a fit for me given its lack of community and focus on research.
The session was hosted by the Director of Admissions and four alumni. What struck me was the down to earth nature of all folks and an evident sense of genuineness. The alumni had all graduated around 2003-04 and even after all these years there was a certain excitement in their voice which was just contagious. The director too was very open and genuine. If this is what Kellogg is really like, then wow! In essence, I came away seeing myself as a perfect fit and now have a strong desire to apply there.

Just two weeks to go for the first round of deadlines. Maybe its just me, but you can almost feel the excitement in the air and connect with thousands of other applicants who are vying for the coveted spots.
I hope to see myself and some of you at those schools next year. Best of luck !
